Private Lessons

Imagine learning just what you want in one-on-one sessions with an experienced teacher. At Sew Fun Parties! you can sign up for classes designed around your interests and sewing level.
For example, you can learn:

• Sewing machine skills while making a simple blouse
• Basic alterations of either store-bought clothes or sewing patterns
• How to choose sewing patterns that fit and flatter any figure
• Garment construction techniques, such as interfacing, buttonholes, and seam finishes
• Quilt techniques, such as piecing, rotary cutting, machine appliqué, or machine quilting

Prior to your first session, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with your teacher, Kate Jones, to discuss what you want to learn. The lessons will be designed specifically for you so that you can meet your personal goals. Lesson days and times are flexible and are arranged to fit your schedule.

Kate Jones has been teaching sewing classes for over 20 years to students of all ages. She has won awards for her wearable art designs, is an avid quilter, and has extensive experience sewing clothing and costumes.
