Teens/Adults Sewing Classes

Morning and evening classes

No sewing experience necessary (unless indicated).
Learn the lost art of sewing at Sew Fun! Parties with the best teachers around. In order to hold your spot, pre-payment is required. Cost of the class does not include materials because everyone has their own designing taste. Most projects can have your child’s name embroidered for an additional $5. Teen Sewing Lounge Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm starting in January 2012 on the second Monday monthly. Dates for Winter 2012: January 9, February 13, March 12. Cost: $20 includes all materials, and snack. January project is Photo Album Cover Open to Sixth graders and up. Sewing experience helpful, but not required. Join Miss Kate to explore new sewing ideas, meet designers, and enjoy the company of others who love to sew. Club dues are $20.00 per month, which covers the cost of supplies for projects & use of our sewing machines. Please sign up to reserve your space. T-shirt quilt top with or without sashing 8 Mondays: January 16, 23, 30, Feb 6, 13, 20, 27, March 5. 10:00 to 12:30 Cost: $150 Do you have T-shirts from college you haven’t been able to part with? Still have T-shirts from your son or daughter’s preschool/elementary years? How about piles of T-shirts from your child’s high school teams? In this class cotton fabric sashing will be sewn between each T-shirt, adding color and flair to your quilt top!

Learn - or Relearn - to Sew Dates/Times: Three Wednesdays, 10:00am – 12:00pm, January 18, 25 and Feb 1 Cost: $75 Teacher: Kate Jones Level: Adults/beginners You’ll go from sewing novice to confident beginner in one session! Learn sewing basics, including: how to use a sewing machine, threading your machine, pinning & cutting, basic seams and seam finishes, and more.
