Sew Fun! Parties is a Fun Way to Learn to Sew for Kids & Adults!
Children and Adults can learn to design and sew various projects such as pillows, bags, memory boards, and gifts on one of our 17 machines located in our studio. Sew Fun! Parties has chosen special sewing machines to use with the youngest of sewers.
All machines are speed adjustable: from beginner to advanced speed.
My Mission:
I was a teacher for 10 years but decided to stay home when I had my first child. It was during this time that I started sewing small crafts as a hobby. One day my oldest daughter expressed interest in the sewing machine and I sat down to show her how to make a 4 patch pillow.
Before I knew it, her friends and my neighbors’ children were coming over for sewing parties. Soon, I was being asked by the parents to teach them as well. Even my four year old wanted to join in, but she was still too young to use the machine, so I downsized some projects to fit her needs using a plastic needle to hand-stitch and decorate several projects.
They had so much fun picking out the fabrics, sewing them together and decorating that I started Sew Fun! Parties™.
I want to promote sewing in a fun and creative way through classes, sew-cials and of course, birthday parties in hopes of bringing back the lost art of sewing.
